Celebrating the New Year is almost a universal occasion, no matter where you go and what culture you look at, all of them are celebrating a day in a year as a New Year. It may be different day, in different season or even not the same day each year – like a lunar calendar – but never the less every body has it.

Since I was a child I loved New Years, not mostly because of the celebration but mainly because of the gifts and holidays I got. We used to go to vacation in New Years time which I hated it. I preferred to have my New Years Eve at home for some reason. However since that time although I understood the reason behind having a day as a beginning of each years and everything but I didn’t quite get the celebration part. In fact I hated the celebration, with the kissing a hugging after the year tern over. I didn’t quit have much problem with the celebration as I had with the notion which some how New Years Eve was special. I remember I went to bed so excited at New Years Eves with the hope that tomorrow is different. But no matter where I was, I always was disappointed. There was just no difference between the New Years Eve and the next morning. So why should I celebrate the similarity?
